The Mountain Shadow
Four friends decided to climb a mountain that villagers called the “Forbidden Mountain.” They were warned never to stay there after sunset.
They reached the top just before evening.
As the sun disappeared, a huge shadow appeared behind them.
They turned around, but there was nothing there.
Suddenly, one friend, Raj, shouted, “Run!”
A strange creature was moving between the trees.
The friends ran down the mountain as fast as they could. Behind them, they heard heavy footsteps.
They reached the village safely and looked back.
The mountain was completely covered in darkness.
The next morning, Raj noticed strange footprints outside his house.
They led from his door toward his bedroom.
Then he heard the same heavy footsteps upstairs.
